Our Storied History

Paul A. Corey was PACA’s founder. He was a graduate of both the University of Notre Dame and Case Western Reserve University. Over the years he had held very responsible and highly visible positions in the fields of education, labor, municipal/county/state government and federal service. He had known and worked with nine of Ohio’s Governors.

A former Director of State Personnel for Ohio, he was the first civilian ever appointed by the President of the United States to be Director of Ohio’s Selective Service System. He was the recipient of numerous professional, fraternal and civic honors.

Our Honorable Team

David P. Corey

President

David P. Corey is President of PACA. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with a double major in Economics and Communication. He also received his MBA from The Ohio State University concentrating in Finance and Marketing. He has been part of the PACA team since 1989. A former banker in Detroit and Director of Research and Development for a 100 year old Columbus-based international fraternal insurance organization, he has been an integral part of the PACA staff since 1989. Mr. Corey currently serves as executive director for several client organizations. His responsibilities include lobbying, overseeing board and committee activities, financial management, meeting and publication management and assisting with client strategic planning. He has special expertise in association law, fiscal analysis and organization management. In addition, Mr. Corey was appointed twice by two Ohio Governors (Bob Taft-R and Ted Strickland-D) to serve as a member of the Ohio Expositions Commission & State Fair Board.

Kim Corey

Account Executive

Kimberly R. Corey, a PACA account executive since 1999 is particularly experienced in database management and in other areas such as customer service management, special events production, newsletter production, advertising sales, meeting management and in many other areas which benefit the client. In addition, she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2007.

Judith A. Martin

Account Executive

Judith A. Martin, a PACA account executive for over forty years, has her Business Administration degree from Park College. She has particular expertise in fiscal management areas. She also has extensive experience in accounting, personnel management, publication management, member services, and meeting/trade show production.

Kristin L. Jackson

Account Administrative Specialist

Kristin L. Jackson, a PACA account administrative specialist since 2013, has particular expertise in member services, publication management, meeting management and other office duties. She attends Franklin University and is working toward her degree in Business Management.

Ashton C. Walker

Support Staff

Ashton C. Walker has been one of PACA’s part-time support staff persons since 2000. She assists PACA in conference activities, registration support and other areas. She is a 2013 graduate of the Ohio State University and a grade school intervention specialist in central Ohio.

Linda K. Martin

Support Staff

Linda K. Martin has been one of PACA’s part-time support staff persons since 2010. She assists PACA in conference activities, registration support and other areas.

Paul A. Corey

Paul A. Corey (1926-2013) was PACA’s founder. He was a graduate of both the University of Notre Dame and Case Western Reserve University, and held very responsible and highly visible positions in the fields of education (president of the largest teacher’s union in the state), labor, municipal/county/state government and federal service. He knew and worked with nine of Ohio’s Governors. A former Gubernatorial Cabinet Member as Director of State Personnel for Ohio, he was also the first civilian ever appointed by the President of the United States to be Director of Ohio's Selective Service System. He was a recipient of numerous professional, fraternal and civic honors and was a frequent speaker on numerous topics, especially ethics.
